Robert Ostlund – Founder (Retired)
Robert started his electrical career in 1953 while serving in the US Air Force in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In 1966 while still serving in the US Naval Reserves, he moved to Washington to work for Boeing. In 1969, Robert and partner Ed Pulley started a business named Ostlund and Pulley Electric, incorporating in 1971 and providing electrical services for residential, commercial and industrial customers throughout the Puget Sound region. Ed Pulley sold his shares to Robert in 1972. In 1991, Robert offered his son, Keith, the opportunity to become a partner, and together they continued to build the business until Robert retired in 2013. Truly a family business, Robert had the privilege of employing three sons, two sons-in-law, two grandsons and one granddaughter during his many years of owning Ostlund Electric.
Keith Ostlund – Principal
Keith is a second generation electrician with over 45 years of experience. Starting at a young age working with his father, Keith has worked in many environments including residential, commercial and industrial. He’s gained deep knowledge in the areas of motors, controls, switching, electrical systems planning and troubleshooting. After moving to full partner, he moved into supervising electrical crews and learned the operational side of Ostlund Electric. Ultimately moving up to managing and estimating projects, Keith welcomed Tracy Ketchum and Cody Ostlund as partners in 2013 and 2018, respectively.
Tracy Ketchum – Principal, Senior Estimator
With more than 45 years of electrical construction experience and 9 years at Ostlund Electric, Tracy’s professional expertise includes project management, estimating, electrical design/builds, business management and safety directorship. His project experience includes work on hospitals, medical centers, old theaters, office buildings, churches, auto dealerships, banks, credit unions, multi-purpose buildings, dental offices, veterinary hospitals, restaurants, health care and assisted living facilities, hotels, & multi-family complexes. Tracy’s high work ethic and dedication to customer service makes him a great team player for your next project.
Cody Ostlund – Principal, Estimator, Project Manager, Safety Manager
Followed his grandfather, father, and three uncles into the electrical trade, electrical contracting is in Cody’s blood. He graduated from Auburn Riverside High school in 2006 and moved right into the family business, enrolling in CITC electrical apprentice program that Fall and graduating in 2010. In 2009 while attending CITC, he acquired his Administrator card, and in 2011 became a journeyman electrician. Cody has a wide variety of electrical experience in residential, commercial and industrial, making customer satisfaction a top priority. Since becoming a partner in 2018, Cody moved into the office and has been learning and growing as an estimator and project manager. He’s also been instrumental in stream-lining the company’s office technology.
